From the NAR: Existing-Home Sales Retreated 1.9% in April Existing-home sales receded in April, according to the National Association of REALTORS®. All four major U.S. regions posted month-over-month declines. Year-over-year, sales decreased in the Northeast, Midwest and South but increased in the West. According to the data from the National Association of Realtors (NAR), existing home sales were down 1.9% from March, reaching a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 4.14 million units. This figure came in lower than the expected 4.21 million. Existing home sales are down 1.9% compared to one year ago.
