The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) house price index (HPI) continued to increase in August, coming in at 411.8. U.S. house prices increased by 0.6% from the previous month and by 5.6% from one year ago. After adjusting for inflation, the real index is down 0.2% month-over-month and up 3.6% year-over-year.
