The challenge in writing How NOT to Invest was organizing a large number of ideas, many of which were only loosely connected, into something coherent, understandable, and, most importantly, readable. That insight greatly simplified my task of making the book both fun to read and helpful for anyone interested in investing.
I submitted the final manuscript for my new book, How Not to Invest , last week. It’s not easy to distill your entire investing philosophy into a single work. My trick was to sneak in the investing lesson by showing some really bad outcomes—not only in finance but in many other fields. What do you include? What do you leave out?
